When going live with wao.io, it becomes proxy for the user, forwarding their request to your server. If you're using a script that relies on the user's actual IP address, like geolocation or geoblocking, you might be getting undesired results due to wao.io's IP address being taken for the user's ip address.

Usually, scripts pick the IP address of the remote user from the HTTP header, e.g. REMOTE_ADDR in PHP, but this will return wao.io's IP address. In this case, change the query to the originating IP address instead by refering to the X-Forwarded-For header variable, e.g. HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR in PHP. Some software solutions, like Shopware, also offer to set a "trusted proxy" directly, see
